The 4th of July weekend was great!! The houses were perfect and in an awesome location. Everything that we needed for the weekend was available in both of the houses (Oak Glen Cottage and Maple Hill Lodge). Oak Glen had a great place to BBQ and hang out with all our friends. Having the boat ramp and dock was very convenient for us. It made it very easy for us to jump in the boat and go for a ride. We will definitely keep you in mind for our next stay on Lake Travis. Thank you so much for letting us stay at the Pine Grove Chalet last weekend. It was even nicer than we expected. This house is wonderful because the living area and main deck are on the third level, which gives everyone a constant view of beautiful Starnes Island and one of the largest confluences of the lake. Also, two of the bedrooms have their own doors to the large second-story deck. The boat dock was my favorite part! It has a large covered deck with a nice map of the lake on the wall, a swim-ladder on the front, and places to tie up your boat on the left and right sides. Lake Travis is enormous. I have spent much of my free time during the last 13 years here and I know it very well. Getting from one part of this lake to another can often take well over an hour by boat or car, which makes obtaining a prime geographic location VERY important. Driftwood at Volente is so convenient. It is about as close as you can get to downtown Austin, so, your guests will have no trouble meeting up with you. It is also just minutes from the best restaurants on the lake, The Oasis, Cafe Bleu, by boat OR car. You are also super-close to ALL the fun spots: Volente Beach Water Park, Carlos and Charlie's, & Devil's Cove. If you trailer your boat, your private boat ramp right next to the dock is perfect. The grounds are large and you feel like you have a lot of free space when you walk down to the water. I looked at almost 100 properties before deciding on this one, and, I am EXTREMELY glad I picked Driftwood at Volente. I can't wait to come back! Thanks again! ”
